| Det. LARRY KUCZKOWSKI Detective Larry Kuczkowski is police officer of the year. Assigned to the JSO’s Robbery Unit, he was honored for a five-month investigation that led to arrests that cleared five bank robberies and implicated the suspects in other cases. |

Cor. Off. ROBERT URBAN Corrections Officer Robert Urban is corrections officer of the year. Assigned to the Montgomery Correctional Center, he was honored for outstanding work in overseeing the entire operation of the jails and prisons supply section. |
| CAROLIN ODOM Carolin Odom is civilian employee of the year. Assigned to the Fugitives Unit in the Detective Division, she was honored for dedication and commitment, including clerical work associated with payment for child support services. |

GEORGE “SCOTTY” FORBES George “Scotty” Forbes is the volunteer employee of the year. He started volunteering at the JSO 20 years ago after his retirement and he has logged more than 27,000 hours at many locations in the department. He now works in the Homicide/Auto Theft Unit. |
| Sgt. DARRYL DANIELS Sgt. Darryl Daniels is the sworn supervisor of the year. Assigned to Zone 4, he was chosen for his pro-active approach to solving problems, including his perseverance in addressing numerous complaints about a local night club. |
