Citizen Involvement: What you can do...
Ever wonder what you can do? The JSO has lots of things you can do
to get involved in the fight against crime.
Start a Neighborhood, Apartment or Business Watch.
All three help fight crime by citizens looking out for each other. Whether
at home or at work, we can help each other by reporting suspicious activity
to the police. Start a program by calling the JSO's Crime Prevention Hotline
(630-7196 ext. 4409 or send an email (CrimeWatch@JaxSheriff.com).
Hope to hear from you today.
"Community Watch"
It's a new program to curb crime by utilizing the eyes
and ears of thousands of people working in Jacksonville. Read about it
on the Justice Coalition
website.
"Ride-along"
